This was our first visit here and I must say the interior is impressive I like the lighting, the seating layout and the decor but the reason I came here was for the food and cocktails. Once I opened the menu it was apparent most people come here for the beer, they have a very extensive list of beers and it's listed by the state of origin and there are many to choose from. Of course being from Louisiana I immediately look for anything from the Abita Brewery and decided on a Purple Haze this is a great beer when served cold unfortunately mine was served in a warm glass and the beer may have been poured cold but it didn't arrive that way. Our server was very friendly but not very attentive. Knowing that the owners of Half Wall also own one of my favorite burger places in NSB on the beach I decided that was going to be the safe option and ordered a burger but unfortunate it fell short and I didn't finish it, the huge chunks of raw jalapeños tucked under the cheese on an over cooked burger which was ordered medium was a big disappointment. There were some things we ordered that was pretty good. The cucumber salad is world class, the beer cheese soup was okay and the French dip has some promise. So nothing horrible here but a lot that is just average, I will return and try a few of their other offerings but they definitely need to lower the beer temperature. I can see this place has a lot of potential they just need to do a little more training and work out some kitchen issues. So I guess the atmosphere will bring me back.

Good place to stop in for a sandwich and a beer. Plenty of choices of beer here. Between the large draft list and even larger bottle list, I am sure everyone will find something they will like. Stopped in on a Monday afternoon for a quick lunch and a couple of beers. The food was pretty good, the service was friendly and quick, and the beer was cold. Nothing to rave about but no complaints either. Nice addition to the area.

Having been at Half Wall several times I liked the place and wanted to go back. The last time was just simply a poor server experienced which ruined it for us. When we walked in it was surprising empty for a Friday early evening. The female server acted indifferent to us upon arrival. I asked about certain beers and she offered no suggestions, the suddenly walked away having taken no orders. I went to the bar and asked about some brews and the bar tender offered several suggestions and I immediately chose one and had it charged to my table and walked back with it. The same attitude was extended when she finally took our orders. The food arrived and as before, it was flavorful. I never saw her again to order a second beer so just flagged her down for the bill. When she eventually brought it I got up to pay at the register and was told to pay the server. I explained that the reason I was at the register was to explain what poor service I had. I wasn't even acknowledged nor apologized to for the service by the cashier. Needless to say, my family and I won't be going back anytime in the near future.

We stopped in for their $3 beer special Saturday. The bartender was fantastic, patient with our crowd of 6. She made some fantastic recommendations and was spot on with her beer knowledge. The interior was well decorated and lit, as well as incredibly clean. We'll be back!

A few of us went here together and had a great time. Between us we tried 2 different burgers and the french dip. The burhers were juicy and taated great. The french dip was good also. Lots of beer choices to satisfy any beer fan. Recommended!

I came for lunch. Beer cheese soup was great. My son and friend had burgers and raved about them. I had roast beef sandwich which was OK... should've been heated first. Great on the food allergies. We will return.

Great place to go and watch a game since they have a tv everywhere you look. Really nice interior. Huge selection of beers (and ciders for those of us who have not grown to love beer yet). The menu has a large appetizer and burger selection. Chicken philly was delicious and packed full of goodness falling out the sides. Good wings, bang bang shrimp, and even grilled cheese!

Great beer but needs more food options. Not very vegetarian friendly(salad and fries) so don't show up on an empty stomach if you are veggie

This was the worst service ever. The bartender was outright rude. Her attitude was snotty and condescending. Waitress was disconnected and vague. Second time there both times disappointing Am a local and Will not go back and have shared my views with other locals

I like Half Wall quite a bit! This is a new addition to Canal St. in New Smyrna and if you're visiting here, definitely make sure to venture across the bridge to check out the shops and then grab some food and drinks at Half Wall! The beer selection was awesome but I'd recommend bringing in more local breweries, not necessarily from Central Florida but the entire state: Cigar City, Funky Buddha, Tomoka, Orlando Brewing, etc. I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and it was great! The service was a 3 of 5 in terms of friendliness but this wouldn't stop me from swinging in on my next visit to NSB!

Stopped in since I was on Canal. Nice sweet up with a vast amount of diff beers and such. Find out from the bartender this place is owned by the owner of Breakers on the beach so the burgers have to be good. Too bad I wasn't that hungry to try one out. 23 large TVs showing diff sports o each one I'll be back.

Wings were pretty good. Need good beer tenders that can steer you to a new beer. Service is very good but the bartender on each of our visits has not been very good at recommending a beer.

I love seeing great new places opening up in New Smyrna and this is one of them. They have tons of beers and tons of tv which is about all you need. Didn't try any food but our waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there so I took away a star for service. We'd come back here again for some late night brews.

Excellent beer selection! The lady behind the bar was super friendly and knew her beers well. I tried a new beer (Einstok) per her recommendation and enjoyed it so much that I made sure to order it at Epcot a few days later. Nice bar too- warm and inviting.

Everything was fantastic except the rude "manager" in the plaid shirt came by and changes the stations on the TV without saying anything to anyone. Rude.... Atleast have the courtesy to ask the people sitting right in front of it.

Good food, great beer. Actually, the serving temps on beer are perfect. Contrary to people who don't know anything but a frozen mug, beer is supposed to be served at around 42 degrees, not freezing. 35 degree beer is beer you don't want to taste. I like flavorful beer and I like to taste it, not just use it to wash down hot wings. The food came out really fast and was tasty. The boom boom sauce should go on everything! The bartender had a large party that had just ordered but put my order in first so I didn't have to wait long. Neither did the large party; their food can out fast as well. Nice spot, I'll be back!
